Turun Ekotori

Turun Ekotori Reuse Centre is a Turku-based non-profit organization whose mission is to create pro-environmental awareness, advance environmentally friendly habits of consumption, reduce the amount of waste and facilitate recycling.

Turun Ekotori is also significant regional employer.

Someone’s trash is another’s treasure

We accept donations of usable items in good condition, such as furniture, home appliances, kitchen items, bicycles, books etc. and sell them forward to new users at reasonable prices. When you donate items you no longer need to Turun Ekotori, someone else can give them a new life.

Employment for the sake of the environment

In addition to environmental responsibility our values include social responsibility, and thus we offer work opportunities to people struggling with long-term unemployment.

If you wish to donate reusable items, call +358(0)44 700 7400. The pick-up fee in the Turku area is 28 euros (within 15 kilometers). For items that cannot be sold forward we will charge an extra fee. However, it is important to note that we do not pick up solely unsaleable items.
